Hey guys! Today I want to share with you an amazing recipe that I learned from my grandmother. It’s called Easy Shepherd’s Pie and it’s a favorite dish in our family. I’m sure you’ll love it too!
First, let’s start with the ingredients. You will need:
– 1 pound ground beef
– 1 large onion, chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 1/2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
– 1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
– 1/4 cup milk
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
– 2 cups mashed potatoes
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Now, let’s get cooking!
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain any excess fat.
3. Stir in the mixed vegetables, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and black pepper. Cook until heated through, stirring occasionally.
4. Pour the beef mixture into an 8-inch square baking dish.
5. Spoon the mashed potatoes evenly over the beef mixture.
6. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the mashed potatoes.
7. Bake for 30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
And voila! Your Easy Shepherd’s Pie is ready to serve.
