And for all my veggie-loving friends out there, we’ve got some delicious Veggie Wrap with Cabbage Steaks. So let’s get cookin’!
Daniel Fast Cabbage Rolls Recipe
Check out this beautiful dish:
Ingredients:
- 12 whole cabbage leaves
- 1 can of diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can of tomato sauce
- 1 cup of cooked brown rice
- 1/2 cup of chopped onion
- 1/2 cup of chopped green pepper
- 1/4 cup of chopped parsley
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 1/4 tsp of black pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Bring a large pot of water to boil. Add cabbage leaves and cook for about 3 minutes, or until they are softened. Drain.
- In a large bowl, mix together diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, brown rice, onion, green pepper, parsley, salt, and black pepper.
- Fill each cabbage leaf with about 1/4-1/2 cup of the mixture. Roll up tightly and secure with toothpicks.
- Place cabbage rolls into a baking dish and pour remaining tomato mixture on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.
- Remove toothpicks before serving.
Veggie Wrap with Cabbage Steaks

Ingredients:
- 1 small head of cabbage, sliced into 1/2 inch steaks
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1 red pepper, sliced
- 1 carrot, peeled and sliced
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- Salt to taste
- 4 tortillas
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 2 tbsp of hummus
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 420 degrees F (215 degrees C).
- Place cabbage steaks on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil. Season with salt to taste.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- While the cabbage is cooking, warm the tortillas in the microwave or on a skillet.
- Spread hummus on each tortilla, then add sliced avocado, cucumber, red pepper, and carrot.
- Once the cabbage steaks are done, place them on top of the veggies and wrap up the tortilla tightly.
- Enjoy!
