If you don’t have an immersion blender, you can transfer the sauce to a blender and blend it in batches.
Add the cooked pasta to the pan with the butternut squash sauce, along with some reserved pasta cooking water. Toss everything together to coat the pasta in the sauce. Add the crispy bacon and crispy sage to the pan and toss everything together again.
