Cheesy Potato Bake
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds russet potatoes, peeled and sliced thinly
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Grease a medium baking dish with cooking spray.
- Spread the potatoes in the baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Pour this mixture over the potatoes.
- Dot the top of the potatoes with butter.
- Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
This dish is definitely not for those who are watching their calorie intake, but it’s worth every single calorie. The combination of the creamy sauce and the deliciously crispy potatoes is simply irresistible.
Baked Potato with Cheese

- 4 medium potatoes
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Wash the potatoes and pierce them with a fork. Place them on a baking sheet.

- Cut a slit in the top of each potato. Carefully scoop out the flesh into a large bowl. Leave a little bit of flesh around the edges to keep the skin intact.
- Add the cheddar cheese, sour cream, butter, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Mash everything together until smooth.
- Spoon the mixture back into the potato skins.
- Bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are lightly browned.
