Chili Chicken Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 lb chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1 red pepper, diced
- 2 green chilies, sliced
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon chili flakes
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, cornstarch, ginger, garlic, and ground black pepper. Add the chicken and stir to coat. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add the chicken and stir-fry until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté the onion, green pepper, red pepper, and green chilies until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Add the tomato paste, chicken broth, and chili flakes. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let simmer for 2 minutes.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and stir to coat with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.
If you want to add even more heat, try using jalapeños instead of green chilies. And if you’re feeling extra adventurous, you can even add some sliced mushrooms or snow peas to the stir-fry.
Authentic Chilli Chicken Recipe

- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces

- 1 tablespoon garlic paste
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 tablespoon red chili powder
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 cup sliced onions
- 1/4 cup diced green pepper
- 1/4 cup diced red pepper
- 2 green chilies, sliced
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix together the ginger paste, garlic paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, cornstarch, soy sauce, vinegar, and salt. Add the chicken and stir to coat. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add the onions and sauté until golden brown, about 3 minutes.
- Add the green pepper, red pepper, and green chilies. Sauté for another 2-3 minutes, until the peppers are softened.
- Add the marinated chicken to the skillet and stir-fry until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot. Enjoy!
