Grilled Cheese Sandwich Carbs

Hello everyone! Do you love grilled cheese sandwiches? I know I do! Today, I wanted to share with you two scrumptious recipes for these delicious sandwiches that are perfect for any occasion.

First up, we have mini grilled cheese sandwiches. These little guys are perfect for parties or as a yummy snack. To make them, start by preheating your oven to 375°F. Next, take a baguette and slice it into rounds about 1/2 inch thick. Place the rounds on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Bake for about 10 minutes, or until lightly golden.

While the bread is toasting, prepare your cheese. You’ll need a mix of cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan. Grate about 1/2 cup of each cheese and mix together in a bowl. Once the bread is toasted, sprinkle the cheese mixture on top of each round. Place the baking sheet back in the oven and bake for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

To serve, place the mini grilled cheese sandwiches on a platter and garnish with fresh herbs, such as parsley or basil.

Next up, we have a three-cheese pan grilled sandwich that will knock your socks off! To make this recipe, start by heating a large skillet over medium heat. Butter one side of each slice of bread and place one slice, butter-side-down, in the skillet. Top with a mixture of cheddar, Swiss, and Gouda cheeses. Add another slice of bread on top, butter-side-up.

Cook until the bottom slice of bread is golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes. Carefully flip the sandwich and cook until the other side is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 2-3 minutes more.

To serve, slice the sandwich into triangles and serve with your favorite dipping sauce. I love ketchup or honey mustard.
