In a medium sized bowl, mix together 3 eggs, 1 cup of maple syrup, 1/2 cup of packed brown sugar, 1/4 cup of melted butter, 1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Stir in 1 1/2 cups of pecans and pour the filling into the pie crust.
Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until the middle is set. Allow it to cool completely before serving. The maple syrup adds an extra depth of flavor to the classic pecan pie.
