– 2 cups broccoli florets
– 1 cup sliced leftover steak
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tablespoon cornstarch
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
– 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
– Salt and pepper to taste
Now that you have all the ingredients ready, let’s get started on the recipe.
First, blanch the broccoli florets in boiling water for about 2-3 minutes, until they are slightly soft but still crisp. Drain the broccoli and set aside.
Next, heat up the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for a few seconds until fragrant. Add the sliced leftover steak and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until slightly browned.
In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with a few tablespoons of water until it forms a smooth slurry. Add this slurry to the pan along with the soy sauce and oyster sauce. Stir everything together well until the sauce thickens and coats the steak and broccoli.
Finally, season with salt and pepper to taste and serve hot.
