Beef Stroganoff
Ingredients:
- 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
- 1 can beef broth
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions:
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned. Remove the beef and set aside.
- Add the remaining tablespoon of butter to the skillet. Add the onion, garlic, and mushrooms, and cook until the vegetables are softened. Remove the vegetables and set aside.
- Add the beef broth to the skillet and stir in the flour. Cook until the mixture thickens, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the Dijon mustard, paprika, and sour cream. Add the beef and vegetables back to the skillet, and cook until heated through. Season with salt and black pepper, to taste.
- Serve the beef stroganoff over the pasta and enjoy!
