Chicken Pasta Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of pasta
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions:
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 6 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the onion and garlic to the same skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the liquid has reduced by half.
- Add the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
- Slice the chicken and add it back to the skillet along with the cooked pasta. Toss everything together until it’s well coated in sauce.
- Garnish with some chopped parsley, if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
