I just had to share this amazing chili recipe with you guys that I came across recently. Trust me, this one is a game changer. Just imagine, a warm bowl of hearty chili on a chilly day, with some cornbread on the side. Oh! It’s heaven on earth.
So, let’s get to the recipe. I have tried it myself, and it’s so easy to make. You’ll need the following ingredients:
Carroll Shelby Chili Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can kidney beans
- 1 can chopped tomatoes
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 onion
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup water
Instructions:
- Heat a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
- Drain excess fat from the pan, then add the bell pepper and onion. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
- Add the chopped tomatoes, kidney beans, and water. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 20-30 minutes, or until the chili has thickened to your desired consistency.
- Serve hot, garnished with shredded cheese, sour cream, and chives, if desired.

Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons chili powder

- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
Instructions:
- Combine all of the ingredients in a small bowl and stir until well mixed.
- Use as a substitute for regular chili powder in any chili recipe, or sprinkle over fries for a spicy kick.
