- 1 can (4 ounces) chopped green chilies
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 red pepper, chopped
- 1/4 cup chili powder
- 2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 tsp. dried basil
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper

Instructions:
- Cook the beef over medium heat until no longer pink, then drain.
- In a slow cooker, combine the beef, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, chilies, onions, peppers, chili powder, cumin, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours.
