Ingredients:
- 2 lbs fresh clams, cleaned (or 2 cans of chopped clams)
- 4 strips bacon, diced
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup flour
- 3 cups milk
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups peeled and diced potatoes
- Parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- If using fresh clams, steam them until they open. If using canned clams, skip this step.
