One of my all-time favorite dishes has got to be Original Old Bay Crab Cakes. There’s just something about the combination of fresh crab meat and the famous Old Bay seasoning that makes my mouth water every time.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound fresh lump crab meat
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon Old Bay Seasoning
- 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
Start by preparing all your ingredients. In a large mixing bowl, whisk the egg. Add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, chopped parsley, and Old Bay seasoning. Mix well to combine.
Add the lump crab meat to the mixture and gently mix until just combined, being careful not to break up the large pieces of crab meat. Add the panko bread crumbs and gently mix until evenly distributed.
Form the mixture into 8 evenly sized crab cakes. In a large non-stick skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the crab cakes and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Instructions:
