Perfect Crab Cakes
These crab cakes are seriously the perfect ones. You won’t need to go anywhere else once you’ve tried these.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound crab meat, picked clean
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, beaten egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and Old Bay Seasoning. Mix well.
- Gently fold in the panko breadcrumbs, being careful not to break up the crab meat.
- Form the mixture into patties, about 2 inches in diameter.
- In a non-stick skillet, melt the unsalted butter and olive oil on medium-high heat.
- Carefully place the crab cakes in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
- Remove from the skillet and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
