Oh boy, do I have a treat for you today! As you know, I’m a genius in the kitchen. I can whip up something delicious in no time! And today, I’ve got a recipe that will knock your socks off! We’re making savory crepes, baby!

Ham and Swiss Savory Crepes

Ingredients:

• 1 cup of flour
• 1/4 teaspoon of salt
• 1 and 1/2 cups of milk
• 3 eggs
• 3 tablespoons of butter, melted
• 1/4 teaspoon of thyme
• 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
• 6 slices of ham
• 6 slices of Swiss cheese
• Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions:

1. Mix together the flour and salt.
2. Whisk in the milk, eggs, melted butter, thyme, and black pepper.
3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and pour 1/4 cup of the batter into the center of the skillet.
4. Swirl the skillet to spread the batter until it reaches the edges. Cook until the edges of the crepe start to dry and lift from the skillet, about 1-2 minutes.
5. Flip the crepe and cook for an additional minute.
6. Slide the crepe onto a plate.
7. Repeat the process with the remaining batter.
8. Place a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese down the center of each crepe.
9. Roll each crepe around the filling and place it back in the skillet seam side down.
10. Cook for 1-2 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the crepes are golden brown.
11. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.

• 1 baguette, sliced
• 1/4 cup of olive oil
• 3 cloves of garlic, minced
• 1/2 teaspoon of salt
• 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
• 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
• 1/4 cup of chopped parsley
• 1/4 cup of chopped basil

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
2. Place the sliced baguette onto a baking sheet.
3. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic, salt, and black pepper.
4. Brush the oil mixture onto each slice of bread.
5. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese, parsley, and basil onto the bread.
6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the bread is golden brown.
7. Enjoy!
