Oh my, have you tried making Crispy Crepes? It’s a favorite dish from around the world, and now I’m going to show you how to make it at home!
Crispy Crepes Recipe
First, take a look at this beautiful photo of the dish:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of flour
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups of milk
- 1/2 cup of melted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar
Instructions:
Now let’s get started!
- First, whisk the flour, eggs, milk, melted butter, salt and sugar together until smooth.
- Refrigerate the batter mixture for at least 30 minutes, this will help make sure the crepes turn out crispy and the toppings stick better.
- When the 30 minutes are up, heat up a frying pan over medium heat. Add a few drops of oil, and pour in a spoonful of the batter.
- Tilt the pan in circles to coat the bottom with the batter, and cook until the edges turn golden brown. Flip the crepe over and cook the other side until ready.
- Repeat this process with the remaining batter, making sure to add oil to the pan as needed.
- Now it’s time to arrange the toppings! This is where you can get creative.
- You can add savory toppings such as cheese, ham, tomatoes, spinach and mushrooms. Or you can try sweet toppings such as fruit, whipped cream and chocolate sauce.
- Remember to arrange the toppings only on one side of the crepe, as the other side will be folded over to form a half-moon shape.
- Finally, serve hot and enjoy your homemade Crispy Crepes!
