Egg Frittata Recipe: Perfectly Cheesy Bacon and Broccoli

– 8 large eggs
– ¼ cup of milk

– 4 oz. shredded melty cheddar or gruyere cheese
– 2 tablespoons of olive oil
– 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
– Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch pie dish.
2. Place a large skillet over medium high heat. Once it’s hot, add olive oil and butter to the skillet.
3. Add chopped broccoli florets and sauté for approximately 5-7 minutes until it is tender and bright green in color.
4. Add in crispy bacon bits and cook for an additional 2 minutes until it’s warmed through.
5. While the broccoli and bacon are cooking, whisk together 8 large eggs with ¼ cup of milk until they are well-combined. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
6. Once broccoli and bacon are cooked, transfer to the greased pie dish. Pour the egg mixture over the top of the broccoli and bacon.
7. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top of the egg mixture.
8. Top the dish with any additional broccoli and bacon pieces as desired, if you had any left over.
9. Place the dish in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean when you insert it in the center of the egg mixture.
10. Once it’s cooked, let it cool for 5 minutes in order to facilitate serving. Cut into slices and serve.
