Classic Pecan Pie
Let’s start off with the classic, shall we? This simple and easy recipe comes from Adventures of Mel. Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 unbaked deep dish pie crust
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
Now, let’s get started on the instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, combine eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter, and vanilla; mix well.
- Stir in pecans.
- Pour mixture into pie crust.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until filling is set.
- Cool for 2 hours on wire rack before serving.
