• 1/4 cup bourbon
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 1/2 cups pecan halves

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour and salt. Add in the butter and use your fingers or a pastry cutter to blend everything until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
3. Add in the ice water, one tablespoon at a time, until the dough comes together. Shape the dough into a disc and wrap it in plastic wrap. Chill it for at least 30 minutes.
4. Roll the dough out onto a floured surface and carefully place it onto a 9-inch pie dish. Trim off the excess dough and crimp the edges.
5. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, corn syrup, bourbon, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix in the pecans.
6. Pour the filling into the crust. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
7. Let the pie cool completely before slicing and serving.
