Another way to use pesto is as a spread for sandwiches or crostini. Simply spread a layer of pesto on your bread or toast, then top with sliced tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, or any other toppings you like.
Finally, you can use pesto as a marinade for grilled meats or vegetables. Simply mix ¼ cup of pesto with ¼ cup of olive oil and use to marinate your protein or veggies for at least an hour before grilling.
