Seafood is always a popular choice in our household, and we love trying out new recipes. Today, we found two mouth-watering dishes that we just had to share with you all.
Exotic Delicious Seafood
If you’re looking for something a little out of the ordinary, then you’ll want to try this Exotic Delicious Seafood dish. It’s even in the name! The photo alone has us salivating.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 lb sea scallops, patted dry
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter, unsalted
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large sauté pan over high heat.
- Season shrimp and scallops with salt and pepper.
- Cook seafood for about 2 minutes per side or until slightly browned in color, then remove from pan.
- Add white wine, chicken broth, lemon juice, and minced garlic to the same pan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium and simmer until the liquid reduces by half.
- Return the seafood to the pan and cook for an additional 2 minutes or until the seafood is fully cooked through.
- Right before serving, sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Honey Garlic Shrimp
If you’re in the mood for something a little more sweet and tangy, this Honey Garlic Shrimp recipe will hit the spot.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, ketchup, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Set aside.
- Season shrimp with salt and pepper to taste.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil. Add shrimp and cook for 2 minutes per side or until pink in color.
- Reduce heat to low and add honey garlic sauce to the pan. Stir until shrimp are fully coated in sauce.
- In a small bowl, mix together cornstarch and 1 tablespoon of water. Add to the skillet and stir until sauce thickens.
- Once sauce has thickened, remove from heat and serve hot. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
