– 1 lb ground beef
– 1 onion, chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn, and green beans work well)
– 1 cup beef broth
– 2 tablespoons tomato paste
– 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 4 cups mashed potatoes
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Now, let’s get cooking. Preheat your oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13 inch casserole dish.
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Add in the chopped onion and garlic and cook until the onion is translucent.
