Spread the beef mixture over the mashed potatoes. Use the remaining mashed potato mixture to create a top layer to cover the beef mixture fully. Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese over the top.
Place the dish in the oven, and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
