Shepherd's Pie Recipe Damn Delicious

Let me tell y’all somethin’, ain’t nothin’ like a good ol’ fashioned Shepherd’s Pie, honey. It’s comforting, savory, and perfect for a cozy night in. And lucky for you, I done found two recipes that are sure to satisfy ya tastebuds.

Now the first recipe, it’s simple, but don’t let that fool ya. It’s delicious as can be. To start, you gonna need ground beef, carrots, onion, Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, corn, peas, and some ol’ mashed potatoes.

First, you gonna brown up that beef in a skillet and then add in the onions and carrots. After that cooks up a bit, pour in the beef broth and let it simmer for a bit. Then you gonna add in the Worcestershire sauce, corn, peas, and let it simmer a bit longer. While that’s cookin’, whip up them mashed potatoes real good.

Once everything’s nice and cooked, put that meat mixture in a 9-inch baking dish and spread them mashed potatoes on top. Pop that baby in the oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20 minutes, or until them potatoes are golden brown and delicious lookin’.

Now, for the second recipe, we got a fancier version of Shepherd’s Pie. This one got some lamb, red wine, parmesan cheese, and rosemary. It may sound fancy, but it’s still easy to make.

In a big ol’ skillet, you gonna brown up that lamb with some onions, carrots, celery, and garlic. Then add in some flour, tomato paste, red wine, and beef stock. Don’t forget that rosemary, too.

Let that cook up a bit, then put it in a baking dish. Top it off with some mashed potatoes mixed with parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs. Stick it in the oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for about half an hour, or until it’s golden brown on top.
