Homemade Sloppy Joes

Ingredients:

• 1 pound ground beef
• 1 small onion, chopped
• 1 small green pepper, chopped
• 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
• 1/4 cup ketchup
• 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
• 1 tablespoon brown sugar
• 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned; drain any excess fat.
2. Add the onion and green pepper to the skillet with the ground beef and continue to cook until the vegetables are tender.
3. Stir in the tomato sauce, ketchup, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
4. Reduce the heat to low and simmer the mixture, stirring occasionally, for 15-20 minutes.
5. Serve the sloppy joe mixture on buns or rolls.
