Ingredients
For the Sloppy Joes, you’ll need:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Now that we’ve got everything we need, here’s how we put it all together:
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, onion, green bell pepper and garlic until the beef is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, salt and pepper to the skillet. Mix everything together until well combined.
- Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes, or until it thickens up a bit.
- Serve the Sloppy Joes on a bun, topped with a little extra sauce if desired. Enjoy!
