S’mores Brownies Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 1/4 cups sugar
- 1 1/4 cups cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon espresso powder (optional)
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 4 cups mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add the sugar, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, espresso powder (if using), and vanilla extract. Mix until everything is combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, whisking after each addition. Add the flour and mix until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and chocolate chips.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Add the graham cracker mixture in an even layer. Top with the remaining brownie batter. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Remove from oven and top with mini marshmallows. Broil for 1-2 minutes or until the marshmallows are golden brown.
- Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
