Fall is here, and that means it’s time for one of my favorite holidays: Halloween! There’s nothing quite like the thrill of dressing up in spooky costumes, going to parties, and of course, indulging in some delicious treats. And what could be more classic than a good old-fashioned s’more? But this Halloween, we’re taking things up a notch with some spooky s’more bars and Halloween-themed s’mores.

Spooky S’mores Bars

If you’re looking for a dessert that’s both delicious and festive, these spooky s’mores bars are perfect for your next Halloween party.

Ingredients:

1 (16 oz) package of graham crackers, crushed
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup miniature marshmallows
1 cup candy corn

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and sugar until well combined.
Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.
While the crust is baking, mix together the sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir frequently until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth.
Remove the crust from the oven and spread the chocolate mixture over the crust. Sprinkle the marshmallows and candy corn on top of the chocolate mixture.
Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the marshmallows are toasted and golden brown.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before cutting into bars and serving.

Halloween S’mores

For a classic Halloween treat with a twist, try these Halloween s’mores. It’s everything you love about a classic s’more with a spooky twist!

Ingredients:

1 graham cracker, broken in half
1 marshmallow
1 Hershey’s chocolate bar, broken into squares
4-5 candy eyeballs

Instructions:

Place one half of the graham cracker on a microwave-safe plate.
Top the cracker with the Hershey’s chocolate squares and the marshmallow.
Microwave the marshmallow and chocolate for 10-15 seconds, or until the marshmallow has puffed up and the chocolate has melted slightly.
Remove from the microwave and immediately top the marshmallow with the candy eyeballs.
Place the other half of the graham cracker on top of the marshmallow and gently press down to create a sandwich.
