Gooey Baked S’mores Bars

- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 cups milk chocolate chips
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
To make the bars, simply mix together the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish. Next, sprinkle the chocolate chips over the crumbs. Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the top of the chocolate chips, and then sprinkle the mini marshmallows over everything. The second recipe is for smores in the oven, or s’mores bars, and it comes from a recipe I found on Pinterest. Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 Hershey’s chocolate bars, broken into small pieces
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
To make the bars, cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, graham cracker crumbs, baking powder, and salt. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the butter mixture until just blended. Fold in the chocolate pieces and mini marshmallows. Spread the mixture evenly into a greased 9×9 inch baking pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Allow to cool before cutting into bars and serving.
