Tikka Masala Recipe Creme Fraiche

Oh, my goodness, loves! I just had the most delicious Tikka Masala (GF NF) I think I have ever tasted! It was bursting with spicy flavor, and it was just the right amount of Gram Flour too.

You guys have GOT to try this recipe!

For the recipe, you will need the following ingredients:

• 2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into bite-size pieces
• 2 tbsp. lemon juice
• 1⁄2 tsp. chili powder
• 1⁄2 tsp. ground turmeric
• 1 tsp. garam masala
• 1 tbsp. freshly grated ginger
• 1 tbsp. fresh garlic, minced
• 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
• 1 can tomato sauce
• 1⁄4 cup organic ketchup
• 1 tsp. smoked paprika
• 2 tsp. ground cumin
• 1⁄2 cup heavy cream
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 1 tablespoon oil or ghee
• 1 bunch of cilantro, chopped

Instructions:

1. Combine the lemon juice, chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, ginger, garlic, and yogurt in a large bowl and mix well. Add the chicken and toss to coat. Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
2. In a large skillet, heat the oil or ghee over medium heat. Add the chicken and marinade and cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 10 minutes.
3. Add the tomato sauce, ketchup, smoked paprika, cumin, and cream to the skillet and stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5-10 minutes until the sauce is slightly thickened.
4. Serve with rice, naan bread, and garnish with the chopped cilantro.

Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, mix together the yogurt, lemon juice, cumin, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, black pepper, paprika, and salt. Add the chicken, and marinate for at least 4 hours, or overnight in the refrigerator.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the onion, and cook until translucent. Add the garlic, and cook for an additional 30 seconds. Add the chicken mixture, and cook until browned on the outside, and no longer pink on the inside.
3. Add the tomato sauce to the skillet, and stir to combine. Reduce heat to low, and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in the heavy cream, and simmer for an additional 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped cilantro, and serve with rice and naan bread.
