As soon as I saw these images, I started drooling. Chicken Tikka Masala is one of my favorite dishes ever, and these photos are making my mouth water like crazy!
Homemade Chicken Tikka Masala
This dish looks absolutely amazing! Here are the ingredients you’ll need:
- 2 chicken breasts, cubed
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp garam masala
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- 1 tbsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp turmeric
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the garlic and ginger and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Add the chicken and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.
- Add the diced tomatoes and spices and stir to combine.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Stir in the heavy cream and cook for another minute or until heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
